David Roland has dedicated his life to performance. When he was young, he dreamed of being a Shakespearean actor, but as you’ll learn in the podcast, as a teenager he was unsuccessful when he auditioned for the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. That’s when his life took a U-turn and he put all his attention to dance.
What followed for David was an incredible international career spanning at least three continents and four decades. Victoria has been his home and his “stage” since 2002 where he continues to teach and perform. His life has been rich and full as you’ll hear in my interview with David recorded in early 2021.
